Collaborative project aims
to stimulate discussion about
migrant housing
in North Carolina
KINSTON, NC--Private business,
higher education and the United Methodist Church have teamed up
to create an idea house for North Carolina farmers who provide
migrant housing.
The project is a joint effort by Mt. Olive Pickle
Company, Inc., Harvey Farms, Duke University and the N.C.
Conference of the United Methodist Church. The house,
constructed on Harvey Farms in Kinston, NC, is designed to
stimulate interest in ways to improve migrant housing in North
Carolina.
