43nd annual Mount Olive College Pickle Classic   Invitational Basketball Tournament November 21-22, 2008 Place: Mount Olive College's Kornegay Arena, Mount Olive, NC. For the very best in Division II college basketball, mark your calendars for the weekend before Thanksgiving. A basketball tradition in Mount Olive for over 40 years, the Pickle Classic draws some of the top Division II teams on the East Coast, including the Mount Olive College Trojans. The Pickle Classic, which coincides with Mount Olive College's Alumni Weekend and Homecoming activities, is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Mount Olive, with the generous support of many businesses, led by the Mt. Olive Pickle Company. Mount Olive College is a progressive, liberal arts college sponsored by the Original Free Will Baptist denomination. It serves traditional and non-traditional students at its main campus in Mount Olive and at campuses in Goldsboro (Seymour Johnson Air Force Base), Research Triangle Park, New Bern, Washington, and Wilmington.
