Super Sweet Dill Strips,
others are discontinued

Mt. Olive's 12 oz. Super
Sweet Dill Strips has been discontinued because of slow
movement. The item had been a slow mover for some time, and stores
generally are reluctant to stock items that don't turn over as quickly
as others.
Other items recently discontinued because of slow
movement include Mt. Olive's 22 oz. Hot Mixed,
16 oz. Jalapeno Flavored Relish, 12
oz. Sweet Sandwich Chips, and
16 oz. Processed Dills.
"We realize this means the demise of a good number of
family recipes that included Super Sweet Dill Strips as an ingredient,"
says Lynn Williams, company spokesperson. "Folks who loved this item
really loved it, but there just wasn't enough demand to continue packing
it."

Zesty
Garlic items have a new name 11/11/03
Our Zesty Garlic Dills, Zesty
Garlic Sandwich Stuffers, Zesty Garlic Chips and Zesty Garlic Strips
have a new name. But don't worry: they have the same great zesty garlic
taste.
Our Zesty Garlic items have been
renamed to Zesty Kosher Dills, Zesty Kosher Sandwich
Stuffers, Zesty Kosher Chips and Zesty Kosher Strips,
respectively.
Look for all four of these items in the locations where
you previously found your favorite Zesty Garlic items. And look for a
new one: Zesty Kosher Dill Hamburger Chips.

products have a new look

Mt. Olive Pickle Company, Inc. is pleased
to announce a fresh new look for our No Sugar Added Bread & Butter pickle products,
using the no calorie sweetener Splenda ®.
The distinctive yellow
and blue label, with the familiar black Mt. Olive logo, is designed to
help consumers more easily find these items on the grocery shelf.
The
departure from Mt. Olive’s traditional yellow and green label is the
first in several years.

Where
are those Super Sweet Dill Strips?

We still pack the Super Sweet
Dill Strips, but we have only a few grocery customers that still
purchase it: Weis Markets in Pennsylvania, Food City stores in east
Tennessee, western Virginia and Kentucky, Harvey's Supermarkets in
southern Georgia, and Winn-Dixie stores in the
Jacksonville, FL, Montgomery, AL and Fort Worth, TX markets.
Publix Supermarkets in Florida also have this product available by
special order.
You can always ask your local
grocer if he can special order a case for you. Sometimes this is
possible, and sometimes it isn’t. For reference, it’s the Mt. Olive
brand 12/12 Super Sweet Dill Strips – UPC 09300 00017.
