A new Squeeze for an old
friend
Mt. Olive introduces inverted squeeze
relishes
4/17/07
Mt. Olive introduces new packaging for its
line of relishes – the upside down, or inverted, squeeze bottle.
It’s the first of its kind in the pickle
category.
“The inverted bottle has really
revolutionized other grocery categories, like ketchup, mayonnaise and
salad dressings,” says Pete Troutman, national sales manager. “We think
this will work well in the pickle category also.”
The new packaging offers several benefits:
it simply functions better than the old squeeze bottle, and it fits on a
number of different shelves in grocery stores.
Look for it in our
Sweet Relish, Hot Dog Relish, and
No Sugar Added Sweet Relish varieties in
your local grocery this spring and summer.

Mt. Olive adds 24 oz. Polish Dill Spears
4/17/07

They're known as Polski Wyrobs, or Polish
Kosher Dills. Mt. Olive has packed a 32 oz. Polish Kosher Dill for
years. (For those who don't know, polski wyrobs are a spicier, hotter
version of dill pickles, and they are usually packed with pepper.)
Now, we've added the new 24 oz. Polish Dill
Spears.
The good news for Polish Kosher Dill lovers
in the Southeast is that the new 24 oz. Polish Dill Spears item is
available in Food Lion stores.
It's also available elsewhere in the U.S. in
Schnuck's,
Hannaford, and Woodman's
locations.

These are Mt. Olive pickles in their truly
natural state: 24 oz. Organic Kosher Dill Spears,
Organic Kosher Baby Dills, and
Organic Kosher Dill Chips.
These organic items have all the great Mt.
Olive flavor our consumers have come to enjoy. But, certified organic by
the USDA, they also feature all natural ingredients.
So natural they, um, might need a fig leaf.
