One of our favorite pruducts. We probably use it 3 times per week.

  2. michele

What an A-W-S-O-M-E product! I discovered these today at our local grocery store and screamed out loud! I just enjoyed these for the first time with chili and the flavor was evenly distributed throughout the bowl and oh so delicious! Thanks Mt. Olive for this great product!

  3. Loyal Waud

We buy them all the time. My wife bought a large container. Do they have to be refrigerated after opening??

    • Lynn.Williams

We do recommend that you refrigerate our products after opening. Thanks for buying!

  4. Loyal Waud

We use them all the time. Great to get the metabolism cranked up and good taste.

  5. Fran Roffe

These are the best ever. I use them in everything I cook all the way from tuna salad and pasta salad right up to breakfast omelets. There always are at the very least two jars in the pantry and one in the fridge. When I get down to two it’s time to restock and my finger tips don’t burn anymore from all the damn chopping. I will never be without.

  6. Peggy

I love to put this in my tuna salad. I also add it to just about any kind of cold cut sandwich. If I ever am caught without some Louisiana Hot Sauce, I will add this to my scrambled eggs with cheese and onions. It is a fantastic product. Thank you so much for dicing it for us. Every pickle I buy, usually Bread & Butter, is Mount Olive brand. You’re the best of the best. =)

  7. Not Cho Average Nachos

Awesome product! Is there any way I can purchase larger size jars. I hate going in Walmart buying 12 little jars at a time. Lol

    • Lynn.Williams

Understand! But, we only pack this item in the 12 oz. size… 🙂

  8. Joyce Michael

How much would you use of the diced jalapeño If a recipe called for 1 and1/2 jalapeños?

    • Lynn.Williams

Joyce, the average sized Jalapeno Pepper we purchase is 3-4 inches in length. Our production folks tell us we get four to five slices per inch. That’s anywhere from 12 to 20 slices per pepper. Hope this helps!

  9. Jody Gray

We use about 2-3 jars a week I wish the jars were bigger.

  10. Christena

Oh so good! I add these to my store bought salsa for added heat. They are perfect because they are already diced. I just wish they would make them without artificial colors, I have family members who can’t eat them because of the added color yellow 5.

  11. Pat

Love this product. Our Woodman stores in Wisconsin carries Mt. Olive products but not the diced jalapeños. Is there anything you can do about that?

    • Lynn.Williams

Pat, we’ll pass your comments along to our sales folks. Be sure you let your local store know that you are missing this item! Thanks for buying (and looking for) Mt. Olive.

  12. Brad

Love the hot peppers so much I buy the big jar!!! Once opened, I do refrigerate as noted on the jar, but I was wondering, how long do they last after opening? Thx

    • Lynn.Williams

Brad, they’ll keep a pretty good while once opened. The good news is they won’t spoil and cause a health issue. They just may get darker and soft as they age. So, enjoy them until the taste and texture are off, then toss.

  13. Susan Parker

Can I order them on line.

    • Lynn.Williams

Susan, we don’t have online ordering of our products yet, but you can order from us by phone by calling our gift shop at 800-672-5041. We’ll ship you six jars per box.

  14. JJ Herrera

On chili dogs, guacamole, home made BBQ sauce, nachos, tacos, chicken fried rice, breakfast burritos, tuna salad, chicken salad…endless delicious possibilities, a staple in our home! Great and delicious product. If you have a Mt Olive T-shirt I proudly wear it.

  15. Craig Berry

    C. Berry
Love Mt. Olive’s diced jalapeno peppers. but I can not find the 32 FL OZ container any more. why.

    • Lynn.Williams

Craig, we do still pack that item. Generally the largest purchasers of our 32 oz. Diced Jalapenos are Publix and Walmart.

  16. P Kuehl

Can you get this product at Woodmans in Appleton Wi?

    • Lynn.Williams

Stores generally choose what they will carry. Be sure to request it when you visit your local store again. In the meantime, you can always order from us and we’ll ship you six jars per box. It’s also worth a search on Amazon.com or Walmart.com to see if it’s available for purchase online (and likely for less than we have to charge for shipping.)

  17. Margie

I love the diced jalapeños. We use them a lot. I can’t find them in the supermarkets around me. How much to order them?

    • Lynn.Williams

Margie, give our gift shop a call at 800-672-5041 for shipping info and to order. Thanks!!

  18. Jim Kenny

I bought some jalapeno rings and they weren’t even crunchy like other brands and won’t buy them agian. And on the web site they don’t even have a complaint place to let them know. Sucks

    • Lynn.Williams

Jim, we apologize that you had this experience with a jar of our products. We do have an online product concerns form (it’s under Contact Us), and we ask that you complete it so that we can properly follow up with you: https://www.mtolivepickles.com/contact-us/concerns-product-feedback/ Thanks for buying Mt. 19. Diane Bennett

I read all the reviews and I’m right there with them! The DICED jalepeno is second to none. We use them on just about everything. We were buying the 32oz jars at ATWOODS in LOWELL ARKANSAS but we found out they were no longer carrying them . I just sent a note into the company to see where I could continue buying the 32oz jar. We bought the small 12oz jar to tied us over but i’m looking for the 32oz, would buy them by the gallon if I could find them. Would like to know all the stores in this Arkansas community of Rogers and beyond, that carry it. The only word I can think of to describe this product is AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!! Thank you….Diane Bennett

  20. Judith D BATSON

I should have known better but not seeing anything on the label that said “HOT”, I assumed they were mild. Other similar jarred jalepeno products do label theirs with tags of “mild,” “medium,” and “hot,”so I expected Mt. Olive products to follow suit. Since I had opened the jar, the store could not take them back, of course. I had to forego that particular recipe for my party since I didn’t have time to go buy one of the other brands. Please, put something on the label telling the shopper that your product is HOT.

  21. Ann Williams

    Hi, Lynn,

Joyce Michael asked what measure of DICED jalapenos would be equivalent to 1½ peppers, but your response refers to SLICED jalapenos. I’ve been searching for the same information and am having trouble finding it. Would you mind letting us know what measure of DICED jalapenos is equivalent to 1½ peppers?

    • Melissa Kilpatrick

Hi Ann, thank you for clarifying. I was able to investigate, and the USDA database gives the weight of a fresh jalapeno as 14 grams. From that, 1 tbsp of our Mt. Olive Diced Jalapenos would be roughly equal to a jalapeno of that size, so 1 ½ tbsp. of our diced jalapeno would be close to 1 ½ peppers. I hope this is helpful. Thanks again for buying Mt. Olive and Happy Holidays!
