outstanding!!! consistent flavor, fire. i use them for cowboy candy, put up in 4/16 oz jars.

  2. Anonymous

I put these on everything…not kidding….after I eat a handful out of the jar first

  3. JJB

I do not see an expiration date on a jar of Mt. Olive Jalapeno slices. This jar is not open. How long will they last unopened?

    • Lynn.Williams

We stamp the best by date on the glass itself, near where it curves into the lid. We have a 24 or 30 month best by date from the time of manufacture on all of our products. Our products don’t spoil because of the way they are made. They will just get dark and soft as they age. There’s no harm in opening the jar and trying the product for taste and texture. If that’s good, enjoy!

Your jalapeno slices are great! I got so tired of sorting through the tough ends and inedible pieces of your “well known” competitors products; and then I discovered your brand. Obviously, food quality is your business. I also now enjoy your other pickled products. Thanks Mount Olive…..

    Never eat another brand again!!!

  6. Tyrone Baker

  7. AE

I have been eating these since I was a kid. Nothing compares!

  8. Darleen M

I want to know if I can get just the juice. I like using it in my cooking with collard greens. The Jalapenos are the best with BBQ as well.

    • Lynn.Williams

Darleen, thanks for your note. We don’t actually sell the juice separately…but jalapeno cover juice in collard greens sounds yummy!

  9. Annette Trejo

The juice is immaculate! It seem like they seasoned the juice as well. I can definitely taste the seasonings. Awesome!

I’m on my third mushy container of jalapenos! What the crap is going on over there? How do I get a jar of crunchy jalapenos?

  11. Indyron

I have to take a container of Mt. Olive jalepenos when I go to the ball park. Nachos and cheese with their cheap, horrible excuse for jalepenos wasn’t cutting it for me. It’s now MT. OLIVE OR BUST for me!

  12. Alivia Sapp

I’ve been a long time customer of your jalapeño slices, however the jar I just purchased has very mushy jalapeños. This has never been the case before. Does this mean they are bad?

    • Blair Cox

Hi Alivia, thanks for contacting us! When you get a chance, fill out our product complaint form and one of our customer service representatives will follow up with you. 13. Jalapeño boy

Great product. Occasionally eat them out of the jar for a thrill. Great heat, great taste.

  14. David DiCamillo

My favorite for a long long time, always great tasting with the right amount of heat! However for the next few weeks I’m on a low iodine diet. Do these peppers have iodized or sea salt in them? Thanks in advance!

    • Blair Cox

Hi David, thanks for contacting us. Our Jalapeno Slices use regular salt. It’s not iodized or sea salt. Thanks for buying Mt. Olive!

  15. David Seredejko

Are the Jalapeño slices gluten free? I don’t see any indication, Thanks

    • Lynn.Williams

David, all of Mt. Olive’s items are gluten free.

  16. Ericka

Normally, I’d give 5 stars, but recently, the jalepenos are too hot, which makes it uncomfortable to eat. Usually, if Mt. Olive jalepenos are sold out at my store, I don’t buy any other brand in place of it. In fact, I change what I’m having to eat that doesn’t involve jalepenos. That’s how much I LOVE this brand. The reason Mt. Olive are the best is because they are not too hot, and you can really taste the flavor. The heat in most other jalepenos overpower the flavor. Mt. Olive doesn’t. Until now. What happened? Please tell me I just got a few bad batches. Please!!!

    • Lynn.Williams

Ericka, the heat of our jalapeno peppers is influenced by growing conditions, so there can be some fluctuation in the heat from one jar to another.

  17. Holly Artis

These are awesome. can the juice be used to make picked eggs? I want to pour all the juice into another jar and add hard boiled eggs.
