Mt. Olive's salad cubes are made with a larger cut than relish, giving them a crunchier texture. Great for potato salads and deviled eggs!

I love the salad cubes for my salads. A friend of mine from Alabama sent me a couple jars and I fell in love with them I live in Amherst, NY and cannot understand why they do not carry them in any of the stores along with other Mt. Olive products. Maybe you can help. Thank you

    • Lynn.Williams

Joan, the salad cubes are something of a Southern thing. They just aren’t available much outside the Southeast. You can always order that item from us and we’ll ship you six jars per box. To order, call us at 800.672.5041 and press 2 for the gift shop.

These are the best for Ham Salad, Tuna Salad, Egg Salad, etc. But, the Same here in Southern Indiana. I had purchased some salad cubes and loved them. Thought that I got them around here, but possibly purchased when traveling in our RV. At any rate, I have been to every grocery around here and unable to find them. It is just the wo of us, so it would take a long time to use 6 each. Is it possible to purchase 3 Dill and 3 Sweet from you directly.

    • Lynn.Williams

Karen, our Sweet Salad Cubes is mostly a Southern item, so you likely did find it on your travels. We have a 30-month date on this item, so the jars actually keep a long time…to order call our gift shop at 800.672.5041 and press 2.

I’ve used this product in many dishes through the years. Now I am eliminating corn syrups and artificial sweeteners. Please make this product with real sugar.

    • Lynn.Williams

Patty, thanks for your comments. We are introducing a new line called Simply Pickles that are made with sugar. I’ll pass along your suggestion on our Sweet Salad Cubes.

Love, love, love the Sweet Salad Cubes! There is no substitute! No other pickle deserves a spot in my potato salad!

I want to try these in my salads, but even struck out finding them in southern Kentucky! I don’t see what the problem is to expand availability! I don’t want to buy a case having only read reviews and not having tried them myself!

    • Lynn.Williams

Anne, our Sweet Salad Cubes are mostly available in the Southeast because those stores choose to carry it. If you haven’t already, use our online locator to see if they are available anywhere near you. Beyond that, you can order from us and we’ll send you six jars per box (which may be better than special ordering a case of 12 jars from your local store.)

I’m from the south, my mom always used sweet salad cubes for her salad recipes. This is MY ONLY and FAVORITE RELISH.

I am trying to have our local store here in Calif order some for me. If they can not, I will call the 800 number. After using these (purchased from Kroger stores in TN) I can not believe all stores do not carry them

I’m originally from Asheville, NC and that’s all my grandmother and mother used to made potato salad. If I don’t have it I don’t make potato salad. Finally glad to be able to find who sells it in Las Vegas. Thank you very much.

    @Aaron De Waine Rhodes,

“Finally glad to be able to find who sells it [Sweet Salad Cubes] in Las Vegas.”

    Who does?

    • Lynn.Williams

It looks like none of the retail grocery stores in the Las Vegas area will carry our Sweet Salad Cubes, although the commissary at Nellis AFB has it. You can always order the 12 or 16 oz. item from us, and we’ll ship you six jars per box. To order, call us at 800.672.5041 and press 2 for the gift shop.

Why oh why do I have to “import” Sweet Salad Cubes from KY. I live in eastern OK and can’t find any within the 50 miles search area. I would go farther, obviously I do since I buy 6 jars at a time and bring home with me. BUT I miscalculated and I’m out. No trips planned to KY for a least 2 more months. I may have to have them shipped, just hate paying shipping costs but nothing else works as well, not even dicing up sweet pickles.

    • Lynn.Williams

Rebecca, the Sweet Salad Cubes are mostly a Southern item, which makes them hard to find outside of the Southeast. Yes, you can order from us to carry you over until your next road trip. We’ll ship you six jars per box. To order, call our gift shop at 800.672.5041. (Thanks for buying Mt. Olive and thanks for helping spread the word about our Sweet Salad Cubes!)

The sweet pickle cubes are absolutely the best! Have been ordering them from the gift shop for years since I can’t find them here in Arizona. I have the gift shop number in my phone, which is good because its not easy to find it on your site.

    • Lynn.Williams

Hey Karen, thanks for pointing out that our 800 number is hard to find on our website. We’ll correct. FYI – our 800 number is found on all of our jar lids, along with our web address. We are dill-lighted you enjoy our Sweet Salad Cubes!

I grew up on these sweet salad cubes in ever potato salad . I moved from Alabama to Texas last June and am making my first potato salad in a long time next weekend. I was gathering ingredients today and was completely shocked that I couldn’t find them at the local Walmart here. I called my mom and asked her to ship me some from Alabama but I see now that I can order them and may get them just in time. I’m so glad you give us that option.

Reading all reviews. I’ve been trying to locate a store that carries the pickles in my region so far unable, however I’ve been apprised of the Military base in the Los Angeles area carries them, but not being a veteran unable to access the premises.
I called the 800 # gift shop to order, was sent to their voice mail, left message for a return call to place an order. As of now the call hasn’t been returned.
Is there a monopoly on the salad cubes not being available along with all the other products in the stores?
Being from North Carolina having grown up with the products makes it frustrating not to be able to obtain with such a wonderful item..
Hope in the near future some provisions may be made to get the items wanted and needed.
    Thanks to all

    • Lynn.Williams

Our Sweet Salad Cubes are mostly found in the Southeast. We need folks to spread the word about how great these are!

After submitting a review Jennifer from Mt Olive called, I was so elated to be able to place an order for my pickles that I became unusually happy
I don’t intend to be without any more.
Thanks, now I’ll be forever happy.
Try calling the gift shop for all items wanted and you will be most happy,

Sure wish we could get these in California. Oh yes would love to have real sugar in them. I don’t need six jars only two of us. Why don’t some of you enterprising Southerners sell them maybe two jars at a time on eBay. The gift shop will only send us 6 jars. My husband won’t tolerate me buying that many.

  17. Rated 5 out of 5

    Nancy

Maybe gift shop could sell a variety of your pickle products 6 at a time as a case. I would purchase it then. Thank you.

Is the only difference the size? My Mother always used sweet salad cubes but then minced them, when I asked why not use relish she said it was different?

    • Lynn.Williams

Anita, the flavor is the same for both relish and cubes. The difference is the cut of the product.

Please start selling the sweet pickle cubes in the gallon jars again. I was very disappointed when stores in my area quit carrying these. Love these pickle cubes.
    Thanks

These are the best thing since slice bread. I lived in Virginia for 30 years and it cut my potato salad making time in half. Plus they are just delicious. Now, imagine my surprise when I relocated to Illinois and couldn’t find them. Would you believe, I drove back to VA for them? Well I did but that’s not going to work each and every time I need them. Now, I thought I bought enough to last me a while but ended making potato salad for 2 events that depleted my stock. I’m still having to make more and don’t want to go down the ole school route. Where is the closest store, near the Chicago area?

    • Lynn.Williams

Phyllis, our Sweet Salad Cubes are mostly available in the Southeast, but you can always do a search on our online locator using your zip code to see if these are available near you. If you just can’t find them locally, you can order from us and we’ll ship you six jars per box by UPS. To order, call our gift shop at 800.672.5041.

Hi Mt Olive, good to know that you will ship Sweet Salad Cubes for me. I was counting on Walmart to be able to ship them (like they can for other Southern items I can’t find in Washington State), but they are out of stock. Target won’t ship them. No one on Amazon has them. I was just in Maryland and thought maybe I would find them there – nope! It’s terrible to be without my Cubes!

    • Lynn.Williams

Yes, we’ll ship! Our Sweet Cubes are something of a Southern thing…
