Mt. Olive Pickle Company Concludes Year with $1.6 Million in Charitable Contributions

MOUNT OLIVE, NC –Mt. Olive Pickle Company, the #1 best-selling brand of pickles, peppers, and relishes in the United States, is proud to announce its commitment to giving back to communities through a generous $1.6 million in charitable donations throughout 2024. The company has long supported causes that align with its core values of community, and this year’s contributions reflect its continued dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
The donations benefit a wide range of organizations that focus on education, food security, and community enrichment. Recipients include:
- Make-A-Wish Foundation: Mt. Olive Pickle Company announced a partnership with Make-A-Wish® Foundation in 2020. We are honored to continue helping Make-A-Wish® fulfill its mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
- National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA): The NWBA is the longest standing and largest Disabled Sports Organization in the world. It was founded in 1949 to provide individuals with physical disabilities the opportunity to play and learn wheelchair basketball.
- The University of Mount Olive: Supporting educational programs and scholarships for students at the local university.
- Wayne Community College: Investing in educational initiatives to help students pursue careers in various fields.
- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County: Providing youth development programs for children in need across the county.
- United Way of Wayne County: Funding initiatives that address local community challenges and improve lives in the region.
- Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina: Continuing support for hunger relief efforts across central and eastern North Carolina.
