Ingredients

1 ½ cups Mt. Olive Bread & Butter Chips, chopped (or your favorite dill pickles!)
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (1 packet)
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for added richness)
FOR THE CRISPY TOPPING:
¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon butter
Pinch of garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. MAKE THE DIP BASE:
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chopped Mt. Olive Bread & Butter Chips (or your favorite dill pickles!), fresh dill, and cheddar cheese (if using).
  4. MAKE THE TOPPING:
  5. Sauté the topping
In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  6. Add the panko breadcrumbs and a pinch of garlic powder. Toast until golden brown and crispy, about 3–4 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  7. ASSEMBLE AND CHILL:
  8. Spoon the dip into a shallow serving dish or bowl. Top with the crispy breadcrumb mixture and a sprinkle of extra dill.
  9. Chill for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
  10. SERVE:
  11. Pair with kettle chips, ridged potato chips, toasted baguette slices, or even fresh veggie sticks!
  12. Pro Tip: For extra flavor, drizzle a little Mt. Olive pickle brine into the mix before serving, just a tablespoon or two, for a tangy boost!
