Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
Cheese of choice; grated, crumbled or finely chopped (See Note for ideas!)
¼ cup Mt. Olive product or mix of products of choice, roughly chopped
Burger buns and optional garnishes of choice such as lettuce, sliced tomatoes or onions and more pickles
**NOTE**
We made these with dill pickles and cheddar, but the possibilities are endless!
Our favorite stuffed burger combinations:
Mt. Olive Dill Pickles + sharp cheddar cheese
Mt. Olive Jalapenos + cream cheese
Mt. Olive Banana Peppers + mozzarella cheese
Mt. Olive Pepperoncini + feta cheese
Mt. Olive Bread & Butter Pickles + blue cheese
Mt. Olive Roasted Red Peppers + goat cheese
Mt. Olive Pickled Red Onions + chihuahua cheese
Mt. Olive Hot N Spicy Dill Pickles + gouda cheese
Instructions
- Separate ground beef into four equal portions and form into patty shape. Create a bit of a “well” in the center of the patties to hold the filling.
- In a small bowl, mix together the filling ingredients before spooning into two of the patties. Add a top patty and press to seal it together. Refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. In a cast iron skillet or oven-safe frying pan, heat 2 Tbsp oil over medium high heat. Add the burgers and cook on each side until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Transfer patties to the oven and cook until desired internal temperature, about another 12 minutes for medium.
- If you like, toast your buns before plating. Garnish burgers however you like and enjoy!
