Mt Olive Pickles

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
Cheese of choice; grated, crumbled or finely chopped (See Note for ideas!)
¼ cup Mt. Olive product or mix of products of choice, roughly chopped
Burger buns and optional garnishes of choice such as lettuce, sliced tomatoes or onions and more pickles

**NOTE**
We made these with dill pickles and cheddar, but the possibilities are endless!

Our favorite stuffed burger combinations:
Mt. Olive Dill Pickles + sharp cheddar cheese
Mt. Olive Jalapenos + cream cheese
Mt. Olive Banana Peppers + mozzarella cheese
Mt. Olive Pepperoncini + feta cheese
Mt. Olive Bread & Butter Pickles + blue cheese
Mt. Olive Roasted Red Peppers + goat cheese
Mt. Olive Pickled Red Onions + chihuahua cheese
Mt. Olive Hot N Spicy Dill Pickles + gouda cheese

Instructions

  1. Separate ground beef into four equal portions and form into patty shape. Create a bit of a “well” in the center of the patties to hold the filling.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the filling ingredients before spooning into two of the patties. Add a top patty and press to seal it together. Refrigerate until ready to cook.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350° F. In a cast iron skillet or oven-safe frying pan, heat 2 Tbsp oil over medium high heat. Add the burgers and cook on each side until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Transfer patties to the oven and cook until desired internal temperature, about another 12 minutes for medium.
  4. If you like, toast your buns before plating. Garnish burgers however you like and enjoy!
