Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
Salt & pepper, to taste
4-6 large flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese
Mt. Olive Hamburger Dill Chips
Sour cream (for garnish)
Ketchup (for dipping)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
- Heat a clean skillet or pan over medium heat. Place a tortilla on the skillet.
- Cover half of the tortilla with a generous layer of shredded cheese.
- Top the cheese with a layer of the cooked ground beef.
- Add Mt. Olive Hamburger Dill Chips evenly over the beef.
- Sprinkle a little more cheese on top to help it all stick together.
- Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
- Once the quesadilla is golden brown on one side (about 2-3 minutes), flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and both sides are crispy.
- Remove from the skillet. Use a pizza cutter to trim the edges, shaping the quesadilla into a football shape.
- Put sour cream in a plastic ziplock bag and snip off a small corner.
- Pipe the sour cream on top of the quesadilla to create football laces.
- Serve warm with ketchup for dipping.
- Optional Add-Ons for Extra Flavor: Pickled jalapeños for a spicy kick, bacon crumbles for added crunch, and/or a drizzle of BBQ sauce inside for a smoky twist!
