Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
Salt & pepper, to taste
4-6 large flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese
Mt. Olive Hamburger Dill Chips
Sour cream (for garnish)
Ketchup (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
  3. Heat a clean skillet or pan over medium heat. Place a tortilla on the skillet.
  4. Cover half of the tortilla with a generous layer of shredded cheese.
  5. Top the cheese with a layer of the cooked ground beef.
  6. Add Mt. Olive Hamburger Dill Chips evenly over the beef.
  7. Sprinkle a little more cheese on top to help it all stick together.
  8. Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
  9. Once the quesadilla is golden brown on one side (about 2-3 minutes), flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and both sides are crispy.
  10. Remove from the skillet. Use a pizza cutter to trim the edges, shaping the quesadilla into a football shape.
  11. Put sour cream in a plastic ziplock bag and snip off a small corner.
  12. Pipe the sour cream on top of the quesadilla to create football laces.
  13. Serve warm with ketchup for dipping.
  14. Optional Add-Ons for Extra Flavor: Pickled jalapeños for a spicy kick, bacon crumbles for added crunch, and/or a drizzle of BBQ sauce inside for a smoky twist!
