Mt Olive Pickles

Ingredients

1 pear
A variety of cheeses and cured meats
Mt. Olive Roasted Red Peppers (for turkey wattle)
A variety of your favorite Mt. Olive products
Peppercorns (for turkey eyes)

Instructions

  1. To make your “turkey,” slice a pear in half lengthwise and place cut side down on a large cutting board or serving platter.
  2. Create eyes by cutting circles out of sliced white cheese (we used a straw!) and topping them with peppercorns.
  3. Add a beak with a triangle of white cheese, and don’t forget the wattle– for this we use a small strip of Mt. Olive Roasted Red Peppers.
  4. Arrange cheese, sliced into triangles or sticks, cured meat and Mt. Olive products in rows around your “turkey” and enjoy!
