This Tiny Mt. Olive Pickles Fan Is Kind of a Big Dill

Meet Lainey Spears, an adorable little pickle lover whose obsession with Mt. Olive Pickles recently inspired one of the cutest birthday photo shoots we’ve ever seen.

And with a last name like Spears, we can’t help but think her love of pickles might have been meant to be!

Lainey is the youngest of four children in a family where pickle love runs deep. Her older siblings, Roan, 6, Avery, 5, and Emersyn, 4, have always loved pickles. Naturally, their little sister wanted to be just like them.

Now, Lainey is completely obsessed.

“Every single time she sees the pickle jar in the refrigerator, she gets so excited and says, ‘Pickle, Mommy! Pickle please!’” her mom shared. “It’s become part of our daily routine, and she never turns one down!”

Her pickle obsession has even followed her to preschool. When her mom packs pickles in her lunch, Lainey’s teacher gets a kick out of watching her happily crunch away.

A Pickle-Perfect Birthday Photo Shoot

As a photographer, Lainey’s mom makes a point of creating birthday photo sessions inspired by whatever her children are obsessed with at the time. When it came time to plan Lainey’s, the theme practically chose itself.

“Her love for pickles has become such a funny and sweet part of her personality that I knew it deserved its own photo shoot,” she said. “As a photographer, I love documenting the little things that make childhood so special, and this felt like the perfect way to capture this stage of her life.”

And Lainey certainly approved.

As soon as she saw all those jars of pickles front and center, she started pointing, smiling and immediately telling her mom to “open them!”

Once the pickles came out, she was completely in her element.

“Watching her proudly carry around the little pickles and crunching away, and showing everyone her pickle like it was her favorite toy had us all laughing,” her mom said.

Her Favorite Mt. Olive Pickle

So, what does a pickle lover like Lainey reach for?

Mt. Olive Kosher Baby Dills are the favorite in the Spears household. They’re a go-to snack for the whole family and a regular addition to their grocery list.

“I think because they are easy to hold in her little baby hands, and they always have that fresh crunch!” her mom said.

Mt. Olive has also been a familiar name in the Spears household long before Lainey became its littlest pickle enthusiast.

“For us, Mt. Olive is one of those brands that’s just always been in our home,” her mom shared. “It’s something our whole family genuinely enjoys together, and it’s become part of so many funny memories with our kids.”

Celebrating the Little Things

What started as a fun birthday photo shoot ended up capturing one of those wonderfully specific stages of childhood that families want to remember forever.

For Lainey’s mom, that’s exactly the point.

“Don’t be afraid to celebrate the little quirks your kids have!” she said. “These are the memories you’ll laugh about for years, and we’re so grateful this silly little idea brought so much joy. Not only to our family, but now to so many other pickle lovers too.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Here’s to celebrating the little things, making sweet family memories and, in Lainey Spears’ case, living up to a very pickle-perfect name.
