Description
At Mt. Olive, we are proud to say that we have been making our delicious, and very popular, traditional dill pickle for over 90 years. We have been making pickles for a long time using the same great pickle recipe and fermentation process.
We use fresh pickling cucumbers and stick to our traditional dill pickle recipe handed down through the generations. You will never meet a mushy pickle at Mt. Olive. Our cucumbers are infused with the perfect blend of herbs and seasonings and delicately jarred to preserve their tanginess.
Our traditional dill pickle has that snap that you expect. We pack our jars with delicious flavor. We ferment our cukes to perfection so you can have the taste of homemade pickles. You can refrigerate our traditional dill pickle products and enjoy a nicely chilled snack or as an accompaniment to your favorite meal.
At Mt. Olive, we believe in tradition. We use a time-honored pickle recipe to deliver those tangy dills that have made us famous. Fermented foods started out as the perfect food preservation method to prevent spoilage, and now are a family favorite because of the taste. Whether you enjoy them straight from the jar or want to pair their tantalizing crunch in a sandwich, our dills can leave your tastebuds in pure bliss.
Try all our Mt. Olive pickle flavors including our Kosher dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, bread and butter pickle chips, sweet pickles, relishes, and more. All of our ready-to-eat pickles are simply delicious.

Hands down the best pickles EVER! I love all kinds of pickles but DILL is by far my favorite. I buy them by the 80 oz. jar! The only store to carry these big jars is Food Lion. All other stores in my area only carry the Kosher Dills. I usually go through an 80 oz. jars about every two weeks!! I don’t normally shop at Food Lion so when I have a hankering I stop and buy 2 or 3 jars at a time (if they have them!). I LOVE DILL pickles! The customer service at Mt. Olive pickles is awesome. I got a bad batch one time and they were very quick to respond and replace!
Wow! What a great pickle. Fresh, crisp, and oh so flavorful!
Like others I am partial to these or Especially the Whole Dills. Not sure what the difference is between them, Dills and Genuine Dills. Unfortunately our stores try to force Kosher on everyone, so when I do find any of the others I buy all that are available. I take these drain the juice off of them, cut them into 1″ bite size pieces, put back in the jar with 7 cups of sugar and a small bottle of Tabasco and let set for a couple of days before putting in the fridge. Hot Sweet Dills to die for. Our First Responders request these for the holidays. However 2020 has defeated me again. We typically give away 12 Gallons to them. Can’t find a damn jar to save myself here in Elkins, WV. However did find some on Amazon for $47.00 and 18 dollars shipping. That person is out of their mind. I might be crazy about these but not that crazy! Bryan T.
Best pickles on the planet!!! I remember getting these from the jar at the meat counter in my childhood. Every time I eat one I remember riding my bike to town to get one! I also save the juice for rehydration and recovery after a long day one the farm. Thanks for keeping this recipe alive and well!!

I would love to try these zip code 25271. I usually eat 2 pickles a day, i have a closet full of Gallon jars that i dont know what to do with, id really like to find them in 3-5 gallon buckets !!
Best Pickles, Bar None. Hard to find at Publix. Can sometimes find at Piggly Wiggly. Both want to sell only Kosher. If you grew up on these like I did, you would not have a Kosher Dill in the house ever!
Are these Vegan?
Yes, they are!
These pickles are my all time favorite and nothing has ever topped them. Don’t ever stop making them please i beg of you. I LOVE YOU MT OLIVE.
Growing up, these were my most favorite pickles in the world!!! Since I stopped seeing them at stores in Florida, I stopped eating pickles all together. People say that kosher dill and dill are the same but not to me… I am pregnant now and have been craving nothing but these dill pickles but the closest I can find to them here are the hamburger dill chips. I wish I could order these pickles online somehow.
Lizz, trust your taste buds. The Dills are very different from the Kosher Dills in that the kosher dills have garlic flavoring. And, the Hamburger Dill Chips essentially use the same flavorings as the Dill. Unfortunately, we don’t pack plain Dills in a size that we can ship you direct via UPS. But use our online locator to search for these near you. We pack them in 46 (UPC 09300 00069) and 80 oz. (UPC 09300 00182) jars, and gallons (UPC 09300 12806 or 09300 12809). And, you can always ask your local store to special order a case for you. Sometimes it’s possible and sometimes it isn’t. But it’s worth a try. Be sure the give them the UPC code. All the best to you and your growing family.
Question: do these have garlic in them? If not I will try them.
Ken, our plain Dills do not contain garlic.
