Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

Ingredients

12 oz. Mt. Olive Roasted Red Peppers
½ cup olive oil
3 tsp. minced garlic
¾ tsp. kosher salt
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
⅔ cup garbanzo beans
½ tsp. cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. If needed, add in a few teaspoons of water and blend until you reach the desired consistency. Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed.
  3. Heat sauce in pan or pot over stovetop on medium-low heat to desired temperature. Cook your favorite pasta separately.
  4. Serve sauce on top of pasta and enjoy!
